Isaiah's The World Today Just Nuts "Barack Addresses Netroots Nation" is above. And even with that funny comic, I'm not in the mood for Terry Gross. Please let me have some time away from that moron. I'll check in mid-week, maybe. But the best weeks of my summer were when I didn't have to listen to her insipid prattlings on Fresh Air.
Insipid? Howard Dean. And Politico. Sample:
Appearing on Fox News Sunday, Dean, who's also a former Democratic National Committee chairman and hero of liberals, asserted Fox News failed to vet video footage of a speech misleadingly excerpted to make it appear that Sherrod was boasting of using her post as an Agriculture Department official to discriminate against a white farmer.
“I don’t think Newt Gingrich is a racist, and I don’t think you’re a racist,” Dean told Fox News host Chris Wallace, “but Fox News did something that was absolutely racist. They took a — they had an obligation to find out what was really in the clip. They had been pushing a theme of black racism with this phony Black Panther crap and this business and this Sotomayor and all this other stuff.”
Howard Dean's not just a centrist politician, he's a centrist Democrat. A few idiots fooled themsleves into believing he was some sort of a liberal but he and his pathetic brother are jokes.
That's (A) and takes care of Politico. "Fox News did something that was absolutely racist. They took a -- they had an obligation to find out what was really in the clip." Did they?
I don't remember Fox News firing the woman. Because they didn't. (The story says Fox News only aired the video after the White House fired Shirley Sherrod.) If it was "absolutely racist" for Fox to air the video without determining whether it was true or not, then it was "absolutely racist" for the White House to fire Shirley without determining whether the the video was accurate or not.
Howard Dean needs to shut his damn mouth. The weak-ass governor of a tiny state who flopped in his attempt to get the Democratic Party nomination is, was and forever will be a nothing. The more he hangs around, the more he bores. Go away, Howard, go far, far away.
