I'm about to have a great afternoon.
Cedric's gone (he's visiting with Three Cool Old Guys at the senior home and I think he's taking them on a field trip) and I've got the house to myself on a day I don't have to go to work and I've already washed laundry and it was Cedric's cleaning day (we alternate turns on laundry and cleaning) so I'm going to read a book and then take a nap.
And it's so perfect for a nap today. I've got the windows open and it's a light breeze and it's just the right amount of sun and I'm tempted to ignore the book and just curl up and go to sleep.
I want at least three hours. If I get three hours of nap, I'll be so happy.
Oh, the book.
Rebecca's "revenge" went up Thursday. She really loves Revenge (ABC, Wednesdays). C.I. and Ava have been praising it for some time too. So I gave it a shot and it's a great show and it is loosely modeled after The Count of Monte Cristo. I'd seen the movie and read an abridged version (we had the abridged version in our textbook in 7th grade, I think it was 7th). So now I've started Alexander Dumas' book and am really into it. I hate to put it down. And this is a huge book. 591 pages.
This is C.I.'s "Iraq snapshot:"
