Seriously, that is my cure this year. (Because I'm pregnant.)
But UPI notes a new study where eating asparagus can help stop the hangover. The article's confusing about before or after -- do you eat before or after. I believe it's saying that you eat it before. Probably a good idea to eat it the whole day before. Have some at lunch and some at dinner.
If it's eat it after? I couldn't.
If you put asparagus in front of me when I was already hung over, I would hurl.
Some people don't get hang overs. They are very lucky. I asked a friend who has never had a hangover (and who drinks -- not sips -- at parties) how she does it?
She had really bad acne in high school. Do you remember Claudia on General Hospital? I think the actress was Bianca Ferguson. She was Laura's best friend and helped her escape Scotty and other things. Well my friend read in Soap Opera Digest that the actress drank 8 glasses of water a day to avoid ance and keep her skin looking good. So my friend did that to address her acne. And she carried it over.
(And still does it.)
She says that the hangover is really dehydration. And that the reason she doesn't get hangovers is because she always drinks at least 8 glasses of water (eight ounces a glass) a day.
So there are two tips if you're going to drink.
If you are drinking, have one for me. Something with salt on the rim.
