The first hour of today's Diane Rehm Show, the guests were Humberto Sanchez, Janet Hook and David Welna. The second hour it was John Hurt.
In other news, go to Hulu and watch the season opener of Hot In Cleveland.
This is season three, right? It's a very funny show (airs on TV Land) starring Valerie Bertinelli (I just got the Family Guy joke of "Valerie Bert and Ernie") whose great and who we all loved on One Day At A Time, Wendy Malick who we loved as Nina on Just Shoot Me, Jane Leeves who we loved on Fraiser (and Throb!) and the one and only Betty White who was so great as Sue Ann Nivens on The Mary Tyler Moore show and Rose on The Golden Girls.
If you forgot, Betty was due to be married and in love with both Buck Henry and Carl Reiner when her dead husband (Don Rickles) returned from the dead.
Personally, my favorite part was Wendy's pretending she and Jane were in love. (Remember, they got married while drugged.) Wendy does it when she goes on a talk show that she wants to become a co-host of and Cathy Lee (sp? -- Regis' old sidekick) tells her that they're looking for a gay host. So Wendy announces her marriage but presents it as real.
This was a great opening. I laughed and laughed.
