In other news, I knew Julianne Moore couldn't pull it off. She's smart enough to realize her pal Tina Fey destroyed her acting award chances when she was doing Sarah Palin and confessed that she couldn't relate to her and disliked her. That's an acting no-no.
When you play a character, you're supposed to get to know her. You're not supposed to hate her.
As the POLITICO story demonstrates, Julianne's having a real hard time pretending to be an actress. If the role is slumming for Queen Julianne, I'd suggest she shouldn't have taken it.
I have no interest in seeing a film about Margaret Thatcher but I admire Meryl Streep's efforts to humanize the woman, to find something to identify with.
Julianne's not a real actress and now we know why. Somebody get her a secondary role on a CBS procedural drama before she's really too old to play it.
